Two different things on one shelf

This section holds both halves of a finished garment, and they are sold separately on purpose.

Blanks are plain garments — Gildan tees, long sleeves, crewnecks, hoodies and polos, plus the Comfort Colors 1717 garment-dyed tee. You buy the shirt, we ship the shirt, and you press your own transfer onto it. That is the route for anyone who already owns a heat press.

Printed apparel is the same garment with your design already pressed on before it leaves here. No press, no learning curve, no cure time to get wrong. It costs more per piece than film plus a blank, because the labour that would have been yours is now ours.

Why we stock blanks at all

A customer buying one sheet of film should not have to source a shirt somewhere else, wait for a second delivery, and then discover the two were never going to look right together. The blank decides half of how a finished piece reads: the same design on a heather grey softstyle tee and on a garment-dyed Comfort Colors reads as two different products at two different price points.

Stocking the common bodies also means a transfer and the garment it is going on leave here together, packed alongside the print run, rather than arriving from two places on two days.

Which way round to buy

If you have a press and more than a handful of pieces, buy blanks and put the designs on one gang sheet — it is the lowest unit cost available here. If you have no press, or the order is small enough that setting up for it makes no sense, buy it printed. If you are not sure the design is right yet, order one transfer at the pressed size and try it on a shirt you already own.

Garments ship on their own rate because a hoodie does not travel like a sheet of film; both rates are set out before checkout.
