What it is

The 5.3-ounce heavyweight cotton tee that has been the default of American printing for thirty years. Boxy through the body, a proper shoulder seam, a collar that holds its shape past the first wash. Nobody buys a Gildan 3000 for the feel — they buy it because it is cheap, consistent from box to box, and it takes a transfer flat without fighting you.

How it presses

Standard settings, no adjustment: 300–315 °F for 12–15 seconds, cold peel. Pre-press five seconds first — this cotton holds moisture and a skipped pre-press is the usual reason one shirt in a batch lifts.

When to pick something else

If the garment is the product rather than the carrier — a label piece someone chooses off a rail — this is not it. Go to the Comfort Colors 1717. If you need a softer drape on a women’s cut, the 64000 ringspun is a dollar more and worth it.

Returning a blank

Unworn, unwashed and unprinted, within 30 days. A blank garment is a stock item, not a made-to-order one, so the custom-print rules do not apply to it. Tell us what you are sending back and we refund it once it arrives.

Once you have pressed it, it is yours. A transfer applied to a shirt makes it a finished piece, and we cannot take that back — which is the argument for ordering one of something before you order forty.

Wrong item, a fault in the garment, or transit damage is ours either way: photographs within 7 days and we replace it. Full policy.
