A library chosen for how the print looks
Not organised by sentiment like everybody else’s. Organised by finish, weight and line — because that is what you are actually choosing between.
What comes off the press
The part the catalogues do not tell you
Finish. Matte, with a hand that softens after the first wash. A pressed Loop transfer sits in the fabric rather than on it.
Colour. Muted palettes survive. Skin tones survive. A dusty rose stays dusty rose instead of drifting toward salmon, which is where a lot of transfers give the game away.
White. The underbase is laid automatically and it holds on black cotton, on navy fleece, on a heather that would swallow a lesser print. Fine white text at 6 pt reads.
Wash. Pressed to spec, fifty-plus washes inside out, cold, no cracking at the edges. Pressed to spec is doing real work in that sentence.
Our process
From file to press, in four moves
- Send the file. PNG on a transparent background at 300 DPI, or PDF, TIFF, SVG. Send it the way it should read. We handle the mirroring.
- We look at it before it prints. Resolution, transparency, stray white boxes, hairlines that will not hold. If something will disappoint you, we email before we press print.
- Printed same day. Order on a business day and it goes on the press that day, and every sheet is checked under a light before it is packed.
- Ground, from Schaumburg. Flat in a rigid mailer up to 24 inches, rolled beyond that. One to two days to most of the Great Lakes.
Sizing
Order by print width, not by garment size
Width is the number you measure on the shirt, so it is the number we sell by. Height follows whatever proportion the design already has.
- 3–4 in — left chest. A 3.5 in mark reads as intentional and does not crowd a pocket.
- 10–12 in — adult full front. At 12 in a print runs into the side seams on a small tee.
- 2.5–3.5 in — sleeves and hat fronts.
- 2–3 in — back-neck tags, where thin type gets tested.
Where the ground map runs
Close enough that ground is the fast option
We print in Schaumburg, twenty-odd miles northwest of the Loop, and ship by ground because from here ground is quick. Chicago and the collar counties, the rest of Illinois, Milwaukee and Madison, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo: one to two business days. Free over $50.

The questions we get most
Is there a minimum order?
No. A single 22 × 12 sheet or one 4 × 4 transfer is a real order and gets the same print, the same check and the same packaging. Shipping is free over $50 and charged at cost below it.
Does the builder cost more than uploading?
No. Same per-inch price on both. Some shops add ten percent for builder sheets. We do not think arranging your own designs is a service you should pay us for.
Do I need to mirror the artwork?
No. Send it the way it should read on the garment. Mirroring is our job, and if you do it too it prints backwards.
What if the print is wrong?
We reprint it, on the press the same day we agree it, shipped free — or refund it if you would rather. Send photographs within 7 days. The full policy is short and specific about what is covered and what is not.
