DTF transfers in Evanston, for people working to a date

Evanston’s apparel orders have a deadline attached more often than not. A philanthropy week, a formal, a home game, a Main Street shop’s holiday window. We print twenty miles west of you and ship ground overnight, which is usually the difference between making the date and apologising for it.

The deadline is the product

A student org that decides on Sunday it needs sixty shirts for Thursday is not an unusual customer here, it is the normal one. That job fails on a national supplier not because the printing is slow but because the shipping is. Same-day print plus a short ground leg from Schaumburg leaves room to press and hand out, which is the part that usually fails elsewhere.

It also means you can decide late. Roster changed, a sponsor got added, the design got vetoed on Monday night: reorder Tuesday morning and it is still fine. If it is the design that changed rather than the roster, rebuild the layout in the browser and the inches recalculate as you drag.

Who orders here

  • Student organisations, club sports and dance teams. Small runs, mixed sizes, a design that changes every season and a budget that does not stretch to screen setup. Gang sheets are built for this: one sheet can carry a whole roster’s worth of left chests and a few full fronts.
  • Main Street and Dempster boutiques. Town-name merch, small-batch graphics, the tote that sells better than the shirt. No minimum means you can test six designs at five pieces each instead of committing to seventy-two of one.
  • Local businesses doing staff apparel. Coffee shops, studios, clinics. Usually a logo, usually a left chest and a back, usually needed before the new hire starts.
  • Makers selling at the farmers market and the art fairs. A dozen designs, a handful of each, restocked between weekends.

One thing worth knowing before you order

We will print what you send, and we do not check whether you have the right to send it. University names, marks and logos are licensed property, and a group that is not an official licensee ordering them is the group that gets the email. Our artwork policy says this plainly because it is cheaper for everyone to know now than after sixty shirts are pressed.

Original designs, org names, inside jokes, town pride: all fine, and all of it prints the same day.

Delivery

Evanston is one of the shortest ground legs we run out of Schaumburg, and an order placed on a business day prints and ships the same day. Free over $100, $4.90 below it. Residence-hall and campus addresses work, though a street address and a phone number get it there with less friction than a mail-room code.

There is no pickup and no counter. If a date is genuinely tight, email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether ground makes it rather than letting you find out.

Postal codes this reaches

Evanston’s own codes are 60201, 60202 and 60203, plus 60208 for the Northwestern campus. The same ground leg covers Skokie (60076, 60077), Wilmette (60091) and Morton Grove (60053) — nine codes on one run, which is why a campus order and a Dempster Street shop ship the same day.

Questions we get

What does a transfer cost for a small campus order?

The same $0.40 per linear inch as everything else — a 22 × 24 inch sheet is $9.60, which covers a run of club shirts with room left over. Student groups usually get this wrong by ordering one sheet per design; put them all on one and you pay for the inches once. If the layout is already made in Illustrator or Canva, send the file as it is. the full size and price table shows the arithmetic.

How fast does it reach an Evanston address?

Orders placed on a business day print that day. Evanston is one of the shortest ground legs we run — 60201, 60202, 60203 and the 60208 campus codes are all on the same route out of Schaumburg. Current bands are on the shipping page.

Can I collect it on campus or in town?

No. We do not run a counter and we do not do campus drops. Everything ships, including an order going four towns away. Residence-hall and department addresses work fine; put the room or mailstop in the address line.

How long does the print survive laundry?

Pressed to our settings and washed inside out, cold or warm, tumbled low, the film holds up well past the point most club shirts get retired. What kills DTF early is a hot dryer and ironing directly on the print, so put the care line on the hang tag.
