You did the layout. We do the rest.
A 22-inch-wide roll, unrolled as far as your sheet needs, printed the same day and cut ready to press. Pick the length that matches your file, drop the file, done. There is no sheet fee and no premium for the size you choose: every inch costs the same as the one before it, so a 60-inch sheet is exactly five 12-inch sheets’ worth, and you can do the sum standing at the press.
What the file needs to be
- 22 inches wide, or narrower. Anything wider is scaled to fit and we will email you first.
- PNG on a transparent background, 300 DPI at print size. PDF, TIFF and SVG also accepted. Not JPG: it brings a white box.
- A quarter inch between pieces, half an inch from the edge. Tighter than that and the cut gets risky.
- Not mirrored. Send it the way it should read. Mirroring is our job.
- sRGB. Opaque colour where you want colour, transparent where you want shirt. No semi-transparent glows unless you want a pale halo on dark garments.
What you get back
Your sheet, on a matte-finish film with the white underbase already laid, checked under a light before it is packed. Flat between boards up to 24 inches; rolled face-in beyond that. It presses at 300–315 °F for 12–15 seconds, cold peel, then a second press through parchment to bring the finish down to matte. Full settings on the FAQ.
Choosing a length
Measure your layout’s height and round up to the next size on the ladder. If the layout is 55 inches, order 60 and use the spare five for a couple of left chests; film you did not fill is film you paid for. If you are between sizes on a big run, it is nearly always cheaper to add a few designs than to order the shorter sheet and a second one later.
If we find a problem
Every file gets looked at before it prints. If the resolution will not hold at the size, if there is a stray white rectangle, if hairlines will not survive the press, you get an email with a screenshot before anything is printed. Fix it, reply, and the same-day clock restarts from your reply.
How to press it
| Temperature | 300–315 °F (150–157 °C) |
|---|
| Time | 12–15 seconds, medium-firm pressure |
|---|
| Peel | Cold. Wait until the film is cool to the touch, then peel low and steady. |
|---|
| Second press | Parchment or Teflon over the design, 5–8 seconds. This is where the matte finish comes from. |
|---|
| 100% polyester | 270–285 °F for 15–20 seconds, to avoid scorch and dye migration. |
|---|
Pre-press the blank for 5 seconds first — it flattens the fabric and drives out moisture, and skipping it is the most common cause of a transfer that fails one shirt in ten. Full guide and troubleshooting table.
What to send
- PNG on a transparent background, 300 DPI at print size. PDF, TIFF and SVG also work. Not JPG — it has no transparency and the white box around your design would print.
- Send it the way it should read. Mirroring happens in our print software; do it as well and it prints backwards.
- sRGB. Opaque colour where you want colour, transparent where you want the garment to show.
- Strokes above 0.5 pt. Thinner lines print, then do not survive pressing and washing.
- A quarter inch between pieces on a gang sheet, half an inch from the edge. No crop or registration marks — they just print.
Every file is looked at before it prints. If something will disappoint you, we email before pressing print, not after. The full artwork guide.

If it comes out wrong
We reprint it. Print defects, the wrong size or quantity against the order, transit damage and lost parcels are all ours — reprinted on the press the same day we agree it, shipped free. Prefer the money back? Say so and it is refunded, tax and shipping included.
What we do not cover: change of mind, a file that printed exactly as sent, and pressing problems from the wrong temperature, time or a warm peel. We will help diagnose those, and if a whole batch fails with correct settings we treat it as a print defect.
Custom-printed to your file, so it is not returnable for change of mind — that is the standard position on made-to-order goods, and it is why we check every file before printing.
