What being local actually gets you

Not a discount — the price is the same everywhere, because the price is the film and the ink. What it gets you is the shortest version of every timeline. Orders with clean artwork placed on a business day print that day and go out that afternoon, and a local ground leg is one business day. For anyone running a heat press in a unit off Algonquin Road or Devon Avenue, that is about as tight as it gets without standing next to the printer.

It also gets you a person who can look at a file and answer the same day. Most file problems — a logo at 72 DPI, a white box that should be transparent, hairlines that will not survive a wash — are five-minute conversations that turn into week-long round trips when the printer is four time zones away and answering by ticket.

Who orders out here

• Print and embroidery shops taking overflow. The forty-piece full-colour job that is not worth four screens, the rush that arrived while the press is already loaded, the sample a client wants to hold on Friday.
• Promotional product and workwear suppliers around Elk Grove’s industrial corridor, pressing logos onto safety shirts, fleece and caps.
• Retail and hospitality around Woodfield. Staff apparel, seasonal merch, event shirts with a fixed date on them.
• Home-press businesses across Palatine, Hoffman Estates and Streamwood, running small batches into Etsy, markets and school groups.

Two honest limits

There is no pickup and no counter. Being a mile away does not change that; we are a production floor with no customer-facing space, and every order ships. If the difference between one day and no days genuinely decides a job, say so in an email before you order rather than driving over.

We are not the only shop at this address. DTF printing in the northwest suburbs is a crowded category and we are not pretending otherwise. What we are competing on is stated plainly across this site: the same flat per-inch price whether you upload a sheet or build one, a matte film that presses soft, colour that holds on the muted palettes most suppliers wash out, and a site that loads in a fraction of the weight of the alternatives.

Start with one

If you press for a living, do not take our word for the finish. Order a single transfer by size, press it on the blank you actually stock, wash it, and look at it. It costs a couple of dollars and it is the only argument that matters.
